"Guang Cai" is the abbreviation of "Guangzhou weaving gold coloured porcelain". It originated from Guangzhou, and is one of the four famous porcelains in China. It combines the ancient colouring techniques of the Ming Dynasty, and is also painted and baked according to the Western painting method. It retains the oriental elements with Chinese charm and the exotic Western elements. Guang Cai porcelain is famous for its bright colours, rigorous composition and fine painting. It combines the strong colours of gold, pastel and ink to create glittering and splendid effects after baking.

Master Cheung has over 50 years of experience in porcelain painting. He had worked at the Yuet Tung China Works (the first and the only surviving Guang Cai porcelain factory in Hong Kong), and was invited to demonstrate in the "90 Years of Hong Kong Porcelain Art" exhibition held at the Hong Kong Times Square in 2018.
