Sugar painting is a traditional Chinese folk art using melted brown or white sugar, dripping it as a golden thin thread onto a slab of cool marble, to create calligraphy or patterns, such as the characters of Chinese novels and animals.

A young artisan whom learned sugar painting art in Henan, aims to bring innovation to this traditional art and carry forward this handicraft to a higher level. Apart from legendary creatures, Master K also creates beautiful sugar painting of cartoon characters.
Workshop details

- Master Ko shares his experiences and stories in the industry
- Demonstrate the skill of sugar painting
- Each participant can create 2 – 3 patterns (e.g. animal, cartoon character, emoji)
