School Event Planning

The promotion of traditional culture and crafts is not limited to adults. Primary and secondary school students can also inherit the wisdom and craft of the previous generation!

Eldage can arrange workshops, masters' sharing, event planning, etc., so that students can experience traditional handicrafts in person and benefit from the sharing of masters with rich life experience.  We can also organise short courses for teachers so that they can teach relevant handicrafts in class.

In 2018, students of the Baptist Rainbow Primary School, inspired by Eldage, set up a small old-fashioned cinema with film projectors, nostalgic weighing machines and other facilities, and studied traditional handicrafts such as drawing film posters, making rattan baskets and " Dragon's beard candy".  Through these activities, students can go beyond the classroom, deepen their understanding of local culture and think about how to pass on!
